What do you love to eat in Costa Rica? (Any restaurant suggestions welcome!)
I love to cook at home, we get organic produce delivered weekly from local farmers so I love to use what we have, we’re so lucky here. I do enjoy making trips to the fishing village in Mal Pais to see what they’ve caught that morning - it’s usually blue fin tuna and when we’re lucky some amazing white fish options too. When eating out it’s El Patio for brekky, their tico burrito has a place in my heart, Lava for smoothies, Playa de Los Artistes for long lunches, Cafe Chocolat for sweet treats, and Sargo for dinner.
Where was paradise for you in Costa Rica?
We live in a small town called Santa Teresa and paradise here for me is an early morning on the beach at low tide, small waves, blue skies. And when you turn around all you can see is the jungle, palm trees, birds flying, it’s truly a special place.
Which beach do you have trouble leaving?
Hermosa, Ranchos, Mal Pais tide pools and some more north that my friends have shown me that really don't have names! Any beach at the right tide is a good choice, it’s all magic on this coast! And to mix things up Montezuma and Cobano waterfalls, and Rio Lajas for some fresh water swims!
